M4 Carbine

One of Zombie Defense Force members’ favorite firearms of all time, the M4 Carbine family of rifles offers the transportability and maneuverability you want in order to survive any type of apocalypse, including a zombie apocalypse. These firearms have a more modern design than your typical assault rifle and are used heavily by the US military. They’re fun to shoot, easy to carry, and offer great versatility due to the many accessories that can be added.

Weapon specifications

M4 Carbine firearms are related to the AR-15, but are shorter and easier to carry than the heavier M16. They have three fire control selections: safe, semi-automatic, and fully automatic. Standard M4 Carbines are between 6 and 7 pounds with a barrel length of 14.5 inches making them great for tactical deployment. The M4 Carbine has a gas-operated rotating bolt and a rate of fire of up to 950 rounds per minute. It fires 5.56x45mm NATO ammunition and has a telescoping stock.

Effectiveness against the undead

The M4 Carbine is close to ideal for close combat with zombies. Its compact size, shorter barrel, and telescoping stock make it easier to carry and use in close combat than larger rifles. M4 Carbines can be fitted with tons of accessories to aid in fighting the armies of the undead including laser pointers, night vision scopes and even grenade launchers.

The straight line construction of the M4 Carbine diffuses the recoil into the shoulder enabling the user to better handling during recurring fire.
